000H-LA-LA!: 02/01/2009

i give up! every time we find a bike we find something wrong w/ it. the black bike in f-dub has a rebuilt title, which wasn't disclosed until we were ready to buy. grr! rebuilt title means it's been wrecked beyond it's worth. dad was right by telling me to buy new. less hassle. whatever... grr!

MOTO-HO UPDATE...

so the bike down in federal way is so money, but we hit a little snag. the miles on the title + the miles on the bike don't match! dood bought it from an auction + is getting the title fixed monday, which means i'm going to need to make myself available monday to sign the title over to my name. grr! what a giant pain in the ass!

got an awesome deal on this helmet @ newenough.com! dot + snell approved! ran around town trying helmets on + managed to find something comfortable, yet affordable. it was actually more comfortable than the shoei's + arai's, which smashed my face + squished my temples. anyhoooooOoOooo, it'll be here in 3-5 days. yay!

ok so scratch that! a 4+ hour drive for a 2008 @ $2900 is just not worth it. plus it needs like $500 in work. bleh! i was eyeing this one:

...but it's a 2006, 2 hours away @ $2300! oh + did i mention it is the exact same color as brad's bike? how gross is that? matching motos! gah! anyhow, we've arranged to meet w/ this dood down in federal way w/ a BLACK 2007 @ $2400. his ad says $2550, but he quoted brad @ $2550, so we'll see where that goes.
