my palm pre's screen is cracked, which is now covered by the manufacturer warranty, but SPRINT refuses to do an in-store repair, exchange, offer a loaner while i send my phone to manufacturer or anything even remotely convenient. sprint notoriously has terrible customer service, but we went w/ them anyway. big mistake! they tried to trick me into signing up for insurance ($7/mo) + have me pay for the insured replacement fee ($100), but i just opted to deal w/ palm directly + be w/out a phone for a week...a couple weeks...i have no idea how long but i hope not too long b/c being w/out a phone sux!

ps: palm customer service rocks! so far... we'll see how long it takes to get my phone back. bleh!
